Marijuana Doctor Card connects people seeking medical marijuana certification with licensed physicians in their state, and publishes state-by-state program information that we research against primary sources. We operate across 42 active program jurisdictions, 29 of which allow fully online evaluations.

What we are not: we are not a medical practice, and we don't influence clinical decisions. Every certification decision is made independently by a licensed physician — which is why some applicants are not approved, and why we refund the evaluation fee when that happens rather than pretending approval is guaranteed.

We also don't inflate. You won't find invented patient counts or fabricated review scores here. Where our information depends on laws that recently changed — like the April 2026 federal rescheduling — we cite the primary source and date every claim. Our research process is documented in our editorial policy.
